· Former director of state commerce, with over 25 years of commerce/economic development experience.
· Former director of workforce development for state education, with over 20 years of state education & state commerce/economic development experience. Has served on the Board of Directors for a state Manufacturing Extension Center, state rural association, state workforce development association, state training center steering committee and state export coordinating council among other associations. Has also been the principal liaison for the national accreditation and credit program.
· Former regional director of state commerce, with over 20 years of utility and public sector management experience. Also has served on a state's workforce development board.
· Former Manager of Wholesale Energy Business for a utility with over 10 years energy experience. Was responsible for energy marketing utilizing option pricing models and risk management constructs. Has also served as Utility Economist & Energy Manager, and has served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Forecast and Research Committee for his state's industry group, the group's Vice-Chairman of Fuel Forecasting, and the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Electric Forecasting group for a state consortium. He has extensive South American experience, and is bi-lingual in Spanish & English.
· Consultant to Mobil Oil and several utilities, has over twenty years experience in the management, procurement, contract negotiation, regulatory process and transportation aspects of fuels (including coal, natural gas, petroleum coke and fuel oils). Experienced in energy in both the public and private sectors. Also has served as the Energy Manager for a municipal utility.
· Former Fortune 500 executive with over 25 years of both general management experience, and experience as an internal & external consultant/negotiator for energy and government incentives. Sought after by state and local governments for his counsel.
· Former capital manager for a division of a Fortune 50 company, with over 15 years capital finance and engineering management experience. Experienced in all aspects of capital management, and has significant experience with regulatory issues.
· Has over 20 years multi-national experience in general management. Is multi-lingual (fluent in Russian, Eastern European languages and English).
· Formerly with the World Bank, with 20 years of experience in the international monetary, banking and development fields. Extensive experience with World Bank and economic development/investment projects. Fluent in French, Arabic and English.
